Where to File Reports

We were victimized by ScienceLab.com. They took our money, sent us an invoice, but gave us nothing in return. Follow-up and attempts to reconcile have been useless. Have a similar story yourself? We'd like to hear from you: sciencelabdotcom@gmail.com.

If you've found yourself the victim of fraud while trying to conduct honest business with ScienceLab.com, here are some resources where you can report the incident.

IC3.gov - Internet Crime Complaint Center
The IC3 is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the National White Collar Crime Center, and the Bureau of Justice Assistance. IC3's mission is to serve as a vehicle to receive, develop, and refer criminal complaints regarding the rapidly expanding arena of cyber crime.

BBB.org - Better Business Bureau in Greater Houston and South Texas
The BBB is always the first place we check prior to conducting business with a new vendor. The ratings for each business is given on an A+ to F scale, and it's no surprise to find that ScienceLab.com is listed as a solid F. Read their page here! Later on, we'll blog about some of the stats we've found on the BBB site. In the meantime...

oag.state.tx.us - Office of Attorney General of Texas, Greg Abbott
The Attorney General for the State of Texas protects consumers and the lgitimate business community by filing civil lawsuits under the Deceptive Trade Practices Act and other consumer protection statutes. In some cases, significant numbers of complaints about a business may give rise to legal action, not on behalf of the individual complaints but to enforce state law.

enom.com - Enom.com Domain Restration
Doing a quick whois lookup for ScienceLab.com shows enom.com as the domain provider. We're fairly sure that using their registration service to facilitate a website where credit cards are charged, and services or products are not delivered to consumers is a violation of Enom's TOS.

Good luck out there, and safe shopping!

  6. ATTENTION EVERYBODY !!!.
THE SO CALLED SCIENCELAB.COM IS AN ORDINARY SCAM..
THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY,AND AFTER THAT, THEY LET YOU KNOW THAT THE CHEMICAL THEY OFFERED TO YOU IT IS RESTRICTED IN USA AND THEY PRETEND FROM YOU PROOF OF IDENTITY AND EXPLENATIONS FOR YOUR REQUEST.
BUT ALL THESE ,AFTER THEY TOOK YOUR MONEY.
IF YOU ASK FOR YOUR MONEY BACK THEY TRY TO INTIMIDATE YOU WITH REPORTING YOU TO FBI FOR DEMANDING A PARTICULAR CHEMICAL OR ANOTHER AND IN MOST OF CASES PEOPLE GIVE UP IN ASKING FOR THEIR MONEY BACK.
    THIS IS THEIR SCAM.
THEY ARE CROOKS WITH NERVE .
BE VERY AWARE OF THIS KIND OF SCAM !!!..
IN FACT THERE IS NO SUCH BUSINESS LIKE SCIENCE LAB. I WAS AT THE PLACE THEY POSTED IN THEIR WEBSITE AS THEIR LOCATION AND THERE IS NO BUSINESS THERE. IT IS A DESERTED BUILDING. FROM THERE OR MAYBE FROM SOME OTHER PLACE NO MORE THAN 2 JERKS IN CHARGE ,RUN THEIR WEB AND A TELLEPFONE NUMBER AND FISH FOR MONEY .
    JUST THINK ABOUT...
EVERY SERIOUS AND WELL INTENTIONED BUSINESS BEFORE ACCEPTING A POTENTIAL DEMAND SHOULD INFORM THE PUBLIC THAT THE DEMANDED CHEMICAL IS RESTRICTED IN USA.
ALSO THEY SHOULD INFORM THE PUBLIC BEFORE THEY TAKE THEIR MONEY, AND I SAID BEFORE THEY TAKE THE MONEY, ABOUT THE FACT THAT THEY REQUIRE AN ID AND A EXPLANATION TO BE PRESENTED ALONG WITH A CHEMICAL REQUEST.
SO, AGAIN,BE VERY AWARE OF SO CALLED "SCIENCE LAB"
IT IS ALSO CURIOUS WHY THEY ARE STILL IN "BUSSINESS".
    HMMM...JUST THINK ABOU THAT!!!
